Ensemble all’improvviso

Ensemble all'improvviso performs a seamless fusion of historical improvisation and printed repertoire. Its members combine musical liveliness with precisely researched performance practice. They studied at prominent early music institutes, including those in The Hague, Leipzig, Weimar, Bremen, and Basel, and now share their knowledge as teachers at universities and music schools. The ensemble has performed at various venues, including the Bachfest Leipzig, the Händel-Festspiele Halle, the Heinrich Schütz Musikfest, and EX TEMPORE – the Leipzig Improvisation Festival for Early Music. In 2017 the ensemble released their debut CD Ohrwürmer auf Reisen, followed in 2022 by their acclaimed second album Ohrwürmer für Kinder.
