Some festivals organize a project choir consisting of the volunteer team that supports the festival and ensembles on site. At Musikfest Eichstätt, it's the other way around: the helping hands who rock admission, beverage service, stage setup, harpsichord transport, and seating arrangements for us, rock the Kammerchor der Katholischen Universität Eichstätt in real life. Demanding choral literature from various genres and eras is rehearsed and performed in regular concerts. Their director, Nico Schneidereit, has been the logistics chief of our volunteer team since the beginning, making him a central figure from the very first hour of Musikfest Eichstätt. We are delighted that at this year's workshop-concert, the roles will be reversed, and we can present to you the musical alter ego of our volunteer team!
