Promenade Concert Guide Claudia Grund

Based in Eichstätt, Claudia Grund is truly a luminary when it comes to the history of the Baroque town. She is both an art historian and the city's local historian. She has been on the city council, serving also as the deputy mayor of Eichstätt. Since 2019, she has been museum director and head of the Department of Culture and Monuments for the Bischöflichen Ordinariat Eichstätt, as well as second chairwoman of the Eichstätt Historical Society. Grund was born with a love for early music, making her practically predestined to enrich Musikfest Eichstätt with art-historical introductions.
