Gabrieli-Gymnasium Auditorium

The Gabrieli-Gymnasium – its focus on both music and economics – was named after the Baroque court architect Gabriel de Gabrieli, whose masterpieces still shape the cityscape of Eichstätt. However, the history of the school goes all the way back to the 13th century, with the establishment of the Dominican monastery in Eichstätt. The auditorium is located in the former monastery church, which was renovated in the 18th century but later damaged by a fire. The eventful history of this protected building ensemble can still be experienced in concerts and events today.
